Project Background

The client, a corporate organisation based in Belgium, sought to enhance its open-plan office environment. The goal was to provide employees with dedicated, quiet spaces for confidential phone calls and online meetings, helping to improve focus and minimise distractions. The booths were intended for deployment across several departments to support both individual work and small team discussions.

Client Requirements

The client requested a total of six portable office phone booths. Key requirements included:

• Effective acoustic separation for private conversations and video calls.
• A compact footprint suitable for an open-plan layout.
• Portability to allow for future office reconfiguration.
• A finish that complemented the company's existing corporate aesthetic.

Customised Configuration

Following a detailed discussion of the office layout and user needs, the following specifications were agreed upon and implemented:

• Ventilation system: A quiet, continuous air circulation system to ensure user comfort during extended use.
• Interior fittings: Each unit was equipped with a built-in desk, power sockets, and integrated LED lighting.
• Finish: A matte white exterior with light oak interior panels was selected to match the client's corporate design language.

The dimensions were carefully reviewed with the client to ensure a precise fit within the designated office areas while maintaining the portability required for potential future relocation.

Logistics & Shipment

Upon completion of production, we coordinated the logistics with the client. The shipment was arranged via sea freight from our port to Antwerp, Belgium. To ensure safe transit, all six units were carefully packed in reinforced wooden crates. We provided complete shipping documentation, regular tracking updates, and assisted with customs clearance to facilitate a smooth delivery process.

Outcome

The client received the booths on schedule, and they have since been successfully installed in their office. The improved privacy and comfort have been well received by employees, with the booths becoming an integral part of their daily workflow.
